Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) announced yesterday several officer moves, Our team at both Solar Turbines and Caterpillar is a melting pot of knowledge and cultures.
A key part of the Hispanic/Latino culture is a healthy work ethic and drive. This hard work and desire for excellence has led to many technological advancements. Photography, electric brakes, CAPTCHA, wireless phones, and ballpoint pens are all attributed to Hispanic/Latino creators. Several key medical advancements are also attributed to Hispanic/Latino scientists, including the laryngoscope, the Neonatal Artificial Bubble, medicine administering bandages and the artificial heart.
To celebrate this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month we set out to discover what makes our Caterpillar Latino Connection (CLC) members most proud. Here’s what one of our employees had to say.
