Derrick York named Solar Turbines President and Senior Vice President of Caterpillar

Caterpillar Inc. and Solar Turbines are pleased to announce that Derrick York has been appointed President of Solar Turbines and Senior Vice President of Caterpillar.

York joined Caterpillar in 2010. His most recent role in the business was Senior Vice President of Caterpillar Oil, Gas & Marine division. York will serve as president of Solar Turbines, a wholly owned subsidiary of Caterpillar and a global leader in the design, manufacture and service of gas turbine systems and compressors for the oil and gas and power generation industries.
